When you use WaffleBerry, you may provide account information such as your name, email address, password, and account preferences. You may also choose to submit memories, stories, messages, recordings, and other content. Please avoid submitting information that you do not have the right or permission to share.

2. Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, WaffleBerry receives your verified Google email address, your Google account display or name information when available, and Google's stable account identifier (sub). WaffleBerry uses this information only to authenticate you, create or link your WaffleBerry account, and maintain your account identity.

WaffleBerry does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts, or other Google account services. WaffleBerry does not store Google access tokens or Google refresh tokens.

3. How WaffleBerry Uses Information

We use information to operate WaffleBerry, authenticate accounts, provide requested features, preserve and retrieve user-submitted memories and stories, maintain service security, diagnose problems, and improve the user experience. User-created content may be processed to provide WaffleBerry's memory, legacy, and artificial intelligence features.

4. AI and Service Providers

WaffleBerry may send information needed for a requested feature to service providers that help operate the product, including providers supporting artificial intelligence, hosting, authentication, email, and related infrastructure. These providers process information for the purpose of delivering those services. AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate, so avoid relying on it for professional or emergency advice.

5. Sessions and Technical Information

WaffleBerry uses cookies or browser storage needed to keep you signed in and maintain your session. The service and its infrastructure may also process basic technical information, such as request, device, browser, and error information, to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the product.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

WaffleBerry does not provide Google Sign-In data to access other Google services. Information may be shared with service providers as needed to operate WaffleBerry, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or protect the security and rights of WaffleBerry and others.

7. Security

WaffleBerry uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their account credentials and sign out on shared devices.

8. Your Choices

You can choose what memories, stories, and other content to submit and whether to use Google Sign-In or the available email and password authentication flow. You may contact us with questions or requests concerning your personal information. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, or operation of the service.

9. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as WaffleBerry changes. The effective and last-updated date above will identify the current version. For privacy questions or requests, contact waffleberry.app@gmail.com.
